Collector Stories: South Cronulla Sunrise

When we sent our early collectors their numbered certificates of authenticity, we asked what drew them to their print and where it hangs. Nicole's answer was about a place she knows by heart.

A first home, and a morning walk

Nicole bought South Cronulla Sunrise when she bought her first unit in South Cronulla.

“I spend many mornings walking the Esplanade taking photos of the sunrise. I thought it was fitting having an image in the opposite direction!”

On her walks she faces the sunrise over the ocean. On her wall, she gets the other side of it: the morning light falling across the South Cronulla peninsula she lives on.
