Collector Stories: North Cronulla Wall

When we sent our early collectors their numbered certificates of authenticity, we asked what drew them to their print and where it hangs. Tom's print has moved further than most, without leaving Sydney.

Five years at home, then a parting gift

Tom bought North Cronulla Wall in April 2021. The canvas hung in his apartment at Wolli Creek for five years.

Then Tom moved overseas to teach music. Before he left, he gave the print to the Performing Arts team at the high school where he taught, and it hangs in their office today.

“This was my departing gift, but as I may return one day, I still have a special connection to it.”

We love that a print can carry a connection like that: a piece of North Cronulla left behind as a thank you, waiting on the wall for whenever he comes back.

Thank you, Tom, and all the best for the years abroad.
